Users are encouraged to make images 72dpi (web format) before uploading to reduce the file size. Use image editing software or free online tools like picnik.com to make images 72dpi (web format) and crop them.
Modern camera's produce images of very large file size, uploading them may result in 'time out' errors if the internet is slow. Uploading web format (72dpi) images significantly reduces file sizes and reduces potential 'time out' issues.
Step 1] Move the map (click and drag) to your location and zoom in using the + and - symbol (upper left).
Step 2] Then click on the sighting location. Your latitude and longitude will appear in the form fields above.
